WHERE TO HAVE A SESSION

Private locations   …   Starting at $225

Your private outdoor location can be anywhere on your property… your kids’ tree house, the creek behind the house, the front porch, or the back yard!  Your session will be classified as a “Location Studio Session” if you would like Robin to photograph indoors, as studio lighting may be required. A Location Studio session does merit a different session fee of $185.

Public locations   …   Starting at $135

Ashland Henry Clay Estate is a very formal location within the gardens.  This location is recommended for first communion photographs, Easter photographs, and occasion where the children or family will be formally dressed.  Outside of the garden area is quite wooded and has lots of variety for more informal photography.  Ashland is privately maintained so they require a $25 fee be paid in order to photograph on their grounds. Ashland is located on Richmond road close to downtown.

Waveland Historic Site is a great place for all children; younger and older.  There is lots of architecture to create a variety of backgrounds.  This is a great location for playful, informal photography. Waveland is located on Nicholasville road just outside of Man O’ War.

Keeneland is a wonderful place to photograph.  The grounds are oozing with different places to shoot.  This location is great for older and younger children and families.  Keeneland is located on Versailles road just outside of Man O’ War.

The Japanese Garden in Scott County, also referred to as Yuko-En on The Elkhorn, is very unique. There is very interesting architecture and landscaping. The colors here are magnificent.  Robin does not recommend this location for very young children. The Japanese Garden is located in Georgetown on North Broadway. A $25 distance charge is required for sessions held at this location.

The Arboretum State Botanical Gardens of Kentucky is very floral.  Robin recommends the arboretum’s center garden more for little girls than little boys.   Outside the gardens is a great place for fall color photography for families and all children. The Arboretum is located on Alumni Drive across from Commonwealth Stadium.

Any other public location Robin will photograph at most any public location in Fayette County. She encourages new locations that may be unique to the client’s family.  Old churches, parks, somewhere downtown, and golf courses are just a few ideas that can dramatically personalize your session.

*At each location an AM or PM session will photograph very differently from its counterpart.  Additionally, the backgrounds, lighting, and color are very different with every session and every location.  It is nearly impossible to perfectly replicate a specific photograph.
